Have you tried Flipgrid yet?? Are you already illin' with #FlipgridFever? It's a serious fever with crazy symptoms that include, but are not limited to, severe excitement about new features, unyielding party-animal hilarity, and a thirst for collaboration that cannot be quenched - even with the help of #GridPals!
Check out some of my favorite features below!
All of these amazing, magical features (and some more that I didn't mention!) are available FOR FREE! You got it - you don't have to pay for any of it. EVER. It's absolutely worth paying for, but thanks to their partnership with Microsoft, you don't have to!
Now you may be thinking, Flipgrid sounds cool, but what can I actually DO with it? The answer to that is, literally anything! Flipgrid could be an incredible tool to use in traditional classrooms for any subject or topic, but could also be used in any type of classroom or school for a variety of activities!
One of my favorite activities has been the Middle School Survival Guide grid that we put together with the middle schools in our school district. My fifth graders were able to learn a lot from the sixth graders so they knew what to expect when they got there. Another great resource I have found is Janelle Safford's Padlet with TONS of Flipgrid ideas! I love her AMA idea so much that I included it in my list below in a variety of situations. ;) Another awesome thing about Flipgrid is that they are ALWAYS updating and improving - not just the site and app, but also helping us improve ourselves! Check out one of Flipgrid Education Innovators' Engage & Amplify webinars or get your Flipgrid certifications!
